The GFB Atmosphere-Vent Conversion Kit is designed to replace the recirculation venting of a Mach 2 BOV with direct atmospheric venting. This modification improves throttle response and eliminates backfiring by allowing exhaust gases to escape directly into the atmosphere instead of being recirculated.
The kit includes a stiffer spring, a new trumpet, and an adapter fitting. These components work together to maintain valve closure at idle, preventing stalling and backfiring, while enabling full valve operation during acceleration.
