DEI Oil Filter Heat Shields protect engine oil from excessive heat by blocking radiant energy that can degrade oil performance. High-performance engines generate significant heat, which can alter oil viscosity and accelerate additive breakdown. These shields act as a thermal barrier between the engine and oil filter, helping maintain oil integrity and performance. The shields are designed to fit standard oil filters and are applied with a peel-and-stick adhesive, making installation quick and straightforward. Each pack includes three shields, with two sizes available to match common filter dimensions.
