The EuroExport SC-40011 valve spring compressor tool is designed specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T engines in Evolutions, Eclipse GST/GSX, Talon TSi, and Laser RS models. Built from CNC-machined 6061 anodized aluminum, it securely aligns with the cylinder head without damaging surfaces or requiring rocker shaft removal. It includes all necessary components for complete valve spring assembly and disassembly, with a magnetized screwdriver and adapter ring for precise fitment.

Installation Notes

  • Align the tool's holes with the head's mounting holes.
  • Secure with two short bolts and washers.
  • Place retainer cap on retainer, lubricate long bolt with provided grease.
  • Turn long bolt clockwise with 14mm wrench to compress valve spring until keepers are visible.
  • Use magnetized screwdriver to remove keepers.
  • To reinstall, place valve, seals, spring, and retainer; repeat compression steps.
  • Apply a small amount of grease to screwdriver tip, place keeper over it, then install.
  • Turn long bolt counterclockwise to release spring pressure.
